Scream for Ice Cream by Supporting Local Businesses

Have you Googled “ice cream shops near me” lately? Scrolling through the long list of delicious options can be paralyzing! To help you make your decision, we rounded up our three favorite local spots for that creamy, cold goodness. Take a look!

Variety for the Whole Family

About a six-minute drive away in the North Redlands Shopping Center, Delicias La Michoacana Ice Cream has lots of fun options! They serve ice cream, fresh fruit, and a variety of yummy drinks like mangonada, vanilla raspado, and Coca Cola from Mexico! Their wide variety of ice cream flavors includes a refreshing Pepino, lime, and chile flavor.

Unique Flavors to Tickle the Taste Buds

Another ice cream shop near us is à la Minute , located a quick four-minute drive west of us on Citrus Avenue. Some of their unique ice cream flavors include avocado, beet and goat cheese, and chocolate lavender! On top of ice cream, they also serve sorbets and vegan ice cream with fun topping jars.

Amazing Ice Cream Creations

Nicho’s is also just a four-minute drive away off of Citrus Ave, and when you get there, you’re in for an ice cream experience! Some of their flavors include horchata, tres leches cake, and even queso! They also make vegan options and delicious churro ice cream sandwiches. Yum!

At Countrywood Apartments , we love any reason to eat ice cream, especially when we can support local businesses at the same time! Join us in supporting local ice cream shops by ordering a few scoops from Delicias La Michoacana Ice Cream, à la Minute, or Nicho’s. Or Google “ice cream shops near me” and let us know what unique finds you come across!

Redlands, California, is a city located in the heart of San Bernardino Valley, surrounded by the natural beauty of some of California's highest mountain peaks and largest forests. However, Redlands isn't far away from some of California's largest cities. It’s only 60 miles away from Los Angeles and even closer to San Bernardino and Anaheim. Redlands got its name from the red-adobe-colored soil of the region. The iron-rich and rocky soil is perfect for citrus trees, but many other crops struggle to grow. This is why, since its beginning, Redlands has been home to a large number of orange groves dating all the way back to 1882 when the first grove was planted. If you're thinking about moving to Redlands, CA, or are just interested in learning more, we've put together a helpful guide that will explain everything you need to know about this beautiful city we call home.
